  1. Ensure that you have the headset connected and configured per the manufacturer’s steps.
  2. Go into BOC Settings.
  3. Turn on the HID toggle.  You will get a popup that should show your headset.  If it does not, refer to Step 1 above.
  4. Click on your headset and then Connect
  5. Next you will need to click Configure Action Button.
  6. Click Start Button Capture
  7. On your headset, begin tapping your answer/hangup button.
  8. You should start seeing an HID Event in the box.  Ideally it is the same ID with each press. See *NOTE
  9. Click Stop Button Capture, then,  Save HID Last Event ID.
  10. You can then close the windows, and test.

*NOTE: On occasion, some vendors will fire multiple events on each button press.  In this case, you will need to experiment by manually entering the different IDs that appear in the history box.

**NOTE:  When using this feature, on occasion, some manufacturers will fire spurious events.  This will cause a hangup prompt box to pop up.

We’ve found that turning off the Auto Listen on Hold button will reduce this possibility but not eliminate.  You will just hit Cancel when the hangup prompt pops if you do not wish to end the call.
