RingCentral: License Expired

Every user that signs in to BOC is automatically granted a 30 day evaluation license.
These cannot be extended or renewed.  You will need to purchase a valid license and assign it to this user if you wish to continue beyond the 30 days.

We offer two different license.

Paper Licenses which are licenses purchased thru RingCentral for a fixed term and invoiced through RingCentral.

Portal Licenses which would be purchased directly in the License Portal and are month to month licenses with no invoicing option.

Portal Licenses are automatically renewed on a month-to-month basis and billed to a credit card or ACH as entered in the License Portal.

If the credit card entered in the portal is allowed to expire and it is not replaced within 24 hrs of the license expiry, you will need to delete that license, buy a new one, and re-assign it to the affected user.

You can delete Portal Licenses if you no longer need them.  You cannot delete Paper Licenses.  Paper Licenses simply die when their expiry date is met.

If you have recently purchased a license through RingCentral directly, and you receive a license expired notification you will need to check a couple things.

First, sign into the license portal an verify that you can see a license in there in the lower right corner.

If you see a license, ensure that it has been assigned to the correct user.

Portal licenses are distinguishable from Paper licenses in that Paper Licenses have a Renew Date with a time of midnight 12:00:00 AM.
Portal licenses will have a specific time during the day.

If you do not see your purchased license, or the dates are not reflecting your renewal, you will need to contact your RingCentral rep.  Often times, even though you have submitted your order to RingCentral, it may not make it through their system and to Bridge Communications in the form of a Purchase Order.
Without a valid Purchase Order, we cannot activate or extend a renewal.
