We are dependent upon this all be configured correctly at the OS level. This passes thru the browser to us.
There are 2 kinds of Default devices. The Default Device and the Default Communications Device.
For optimal use, you would set your PC Speakers to your Default Device, and your Headset to the Default Communications Device.
However, that said, be aware, the RingCentral API does not allow us to split out ringer from call audio. They both come from the API the same way. The ring should come from wherever the browser is defined to play. This may or may not be your Default Device or Default Communications Device.

Then, in the BOC Console, you will want to pick the matching settings.
Note: the speaker icon is indicative of where call audio will be coming from, NOT the ringing.
